The Friluftsliv Skiathon was a fun non-competitive skiing and fund raising challenge. Kevin Koch and Melissa Newall outshone everyone in distance skied while John Traylor and Dave Knutson were the fund raising powerhouses. Thanks everyone for giving our operations budget a nice boost!

HUGE thanks to our presenting sponsor, Starr’s Guitars in Cedaredge, to Jagged Edge Mountain Gear for providing gifts for our top fundraisers, and to the wonderful supporting businesses (Lost Mesa Grill, Sugar Mamas’ Bakeshop, and Octopus Coffee) that provided a delicious lunch for participants that everyone was raving about.  And, we couldn’t have done it without our amazing team of volunteers (Cale, Stu, Cassidy, Laura, Lori, Jenn, Sherrion, Danielle, Mari, and Brendan).

This truly was a community effort and the spirit of Friluftsliv and living the “free air life” was embodied by all who participated.
