Progressive Skate Clinic Series
This series of progressive skate clinics will take you through the various techniques for skate skiing. Skills covered in these clinics include skating technique fundamentals, V1 technique, climbing, V2 and V2 alternate, and adapting various techniques to terrain and transitions.
Skiers of all abilities welcome. The Morning Clinics will be for advanced skiers and the afternoon class will be for beginner skiers. So wherever you are at with Skate skiing we have a place for you!!
Date: Thursday, December 12th, 19th and January 9th and 16th
Advanced – 10:30am to 12:00
Beginner – 1:00 to 2:30pm
Place: Skyway
Cost: $200
Prerequisite skills for Advanced Only
-Ability to ski one hour comfortably
-Capable of handling intermediate trails
-Knowledge of at least one poling technique
-Ability to manage moderate downhills and control your speed on steep downhills

About your instructor:
Lori Anderson has been Nordic skiing for over 30 years. She moved to Mesa in 2017 and soon became an active member in GMNC, including as a Nordic Instructor last season. She was involved in the Progressive Skate Ski Clinic last year and is eager to share new insights and different perspectives this year.
