Progressive Classic Clinic Series 

This series of progressive classic clinics will take you through the various techniques for skate skiing. Skills covered in these clinics include skating technique fundamentals, double poling, kicking, kick-double-pole, climbing, and adapting various techniques to terrain and transitions.

This clinic is for advanced beginners and up. 

Date: Thursday, December 12th, 19th, and January 2nd, and January 9th. 

Time: 11am -12:30pm

Place: Skyway
Cost: $200

Prerequisite skills for advanced only 
-Ability to ski for one hour comfortably
-Capable of handling intermediate trails
-Ability to manage moderate downhills and control your speed on steep downhills

-Classic striding fundamentals
-Striding technique-Climbing
-Kick double poling
-Double poling
-Adapting various techniques toterrain/transitionss

About your instructors:
Tim Carter has been  eaching and coaching Nordic skiing for over 40 years. Teaching is a passion for him, and he’s a multiple time National Masters Champion.  

Tina Wilson has taught in New Hampshire, Wyoming , and Colorado. She loves getting people on skis and excited about the sport. She’s been teaching for GMNC for many years now.
